Footpaths

Public Rights of Way map

If you would like a paper copy of the Panfield Footpaths map email the Parish Clerk. Maps cost £1.00 which will be donated to Panfield Community Association.

Reporting problems to Essex Highways

All footpaths are public rights of way. They are the responsibility of Essex County Council Highways Department.

Use their Tell us about something section to report problems with:

  • footpaths
  • public rights of way
  • roads
  • pavements
  • potholes

The form also has a map so you can pinpoint where the problem is. You will get a tracking number so you can check the progress of the report if you need to.

You can also call 0345 603 7631 to report a problem by phone.

Highways have produced useful how to videos. They show how to report or check a highways issue. Keep up-to-date of any work by visiting future and current roadworks interactive map

Fly tipping and street cleaning
